Fountain Hills Theater presents The Addams Family.

They’re creepy and they’re kooky! This comical musical feast embraces the wackiness in every family. It’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet young man from a respectable family. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides her love to her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

In the past decade, an increasing number of Hollywood movies have served as the basis for stage musicals. This reversed a 60-year trend during which musicals that were hits on Broadway, such as Show Boat, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music and others, were eventually turned into successful films.

Artistic Director Peter J. Hill has devoted the current season to this phenomenon with the season comprised entirely of movies adapted to the stage!

Desert Tortoise Night Ride happens the first Tuesday of every month. Mountain biking provides a unique and exciting way to experience the outdoors. Our Mountain Bike Night rides are designed to accommodate riders from a variety of backgrounds. This ride will be approximately 8 to 10 miles at a casual pace under the starry sky. This ride requires lights and a helmet. Join us for fun and this is a great ride for those just getting started in mountain biking at night. Meet at McDowell Mountain Regional Park - at the Four Peaks parking lot. We roll out at 7pm and enjoy the evening ride together!

Time4U is a drop-in session with volunteers to help answer questions people have about their smartphones, tablets, and computers.
