The Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the long-standing Chamber Lunch Mob!
Details
The Chamber Lunch Mob will be on June 25th from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Phil’s Filling Station (16852 E. Parkview). Part of the program includes their “Survive Today, Thrive Tomorrow” Save Local campaign featuring 2-3 other local businesses. The Chamber Mob is a fun Shop Local program. It is designed to bring visibility and revenue to local businesses. Each month, 3-4 businesses will receive support from the Chamber Mob. The businesses must be chamber members in good standing to be considered. This program is seasonal from April-August. It is scheduled the 4th Friday monthly.
So how does the Chamber Mob work? First, all participants gather at a local business. This includes chamber members, residents, friends, family, etc. Brief introductions of company staff and company information is shared. Then, the next location is announced, which will be a local retailer. The Chamber group then “mobs” the retailer to support local and purchase at least $10 in wares. From the retail location, the mob will end at a local restaurateur to “mob” the local restaurant for lunch! A home-based business will have the opportunity to share a few minutes to the mob for the final Support Local push, with FOUR local businesses being supported in all 90 minutes or less! All local residents, chamber members and their staff, and other businesspeople are encouraged to attend.
