The 2023 Live Poinsettia Tree Display will be back on the Avenue of the Fountains for the annual Stroll in the Glow event and throughout the holiday season. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Poinsettia Tree and the seventh year it is being organized by members of the Fountain Hills Leadership Academy.

The Poinsettia Tree Project is a program of I Love Fountain Hills, also known as the Fountain Hills Cultural and Civic Association (FHCCA). According to Project Director Mike Pameditis, the Leadership Academy volunteers always bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the project. This year’s co-chairs from Class 7 of the Leadership Academy are Frank Colella, Lee Holmes, Toni LoPoer, Carleen Watts, and Rick Watts.

Members of the community are invited to order a poinsettia plant for the display in honor of a special person or in memory of a loved one who has passed. The names of both the donor and the honoree will be displayed next to the tree, which will be available for viewing beginning Saturday, December 2. The tree will be maintained throughout the holiday season by the Town Parks Department.

Poinsettias are $15 each for members of FHCCA or $20 each for non-members. Orders can only be placed online at www.iLoveFountainHills.org/poinsettia-tree using a credit card or PayPal. If you need assistance placing an order, please call the Poinsettia Project Director at 480-707-8777 for assistance. The order deadline is Tuesday, November 21. This year’s poinsettias are being provided by Verde Valley Nursery in Fountain Hills.

Poinsettia plant orders are tax-deductible donations since I Love Fountain Hills/FHCCA is a 501(c)3 organization.
