Join in for the annual Salt River Wild Horses Ride!
Details
The Wild Horses Motorcycle Ride will be held Saturday, January 30th at 9 AM. This event is open to the public. It starts at American Legion Post 58 in Fountain Hills (16837 E Parkview Ave). This motorcycle ride is to continue to support and bring awareness to the Salt River Wild Horses. It is also meant to raise funds to help keep them protected and free.
Take an unescorted ride on a scenic route where the wild horses call home through the Lower Salt River on Bush Highway in the Tonto National Forest. However, the recreational sites are close to this event due to COVID-19.
The suggested donation is $10. All proceeds will benefit the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group. This group continues protecting and keeping the Salt River Horses wild and free. Learn more about them here.
There will be an end party at Superstition Harley-Davidson at 2910 W. Apache Trail in Apache Junction. The party will be from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Apache Junction Rangers will be on site for traffic control and parking assistance. Find more information here.
There will be food trucks, vendors, educational booths and more! Not to mention live music from Nathan Dean & the Damn Band. There will also be special guest Simone Netherlands, the President for the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group.
