Looking for somewhere your child’s learning can be supervised? The Fountain Hills Community Theater is holding Creative Connection Classes. It is designed so busy parents can focus on work and not worry about their child’s education. Kids also get to sing, dance and act when their schoolwork is finished for added fun!
Details
Creative Connection Classes will be held for two weeks, August 17-28th from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. It is for students 8-18 years old. The total tuition is $350 ($175 per week) per child.
About the Program
Students are given the opportunity to work in an independent and quiet environment for their online schooling. However, they can socialize and interact with other students during breaks and lunch. This results in a safe school-like atmosphere for your child. Once their schoolwork is done, they can enjoy singing, acting, dancing, and improvisation games. If students consistently finish their schoolwork early, they will rehearse and develop a short play or musical. There will also be other non-performance activities for children who do not wish to perform.
What to Expect
All schedules are welcome! Students simply bring their laptop or tablet, and headset. There is internet available at the theater for them to use. There will be adult supervision and guidance as well.
Safety Protocols
The Fountain Hills Community Theater is following all CDC guidelines to ensure safe operations. There will be contact-free drop-off and pick-up. All students’ temperatures will be taken upon arrival. There will be hand washing and cleaning of all areas. Also, social distancing will be encouraged. *If COVID-19 safety requires that this program be re-scheduled, you will be issued a credit towards other classes at the Fountain Hills Theater. The Fountain Hills Theater is unable to offer refunds at this time.
Creative Arts Class
Do you have a child between the ages of 5-7? The Fountain Hills Theater is also hosting a Creative Arts course for the younger ages. It is the same dates of August 17-28th but from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm. Tuition is $120 ($60 per week). The kids can enjoy singing, dancing, acting and improvisation games. It allows kids to interact and gets them comfortable in front of an audience.
